Explore Baltimore’s parks and outdoor spaces while using science and recreation to practice environmental stewardship.
Branches FAQ’s

The Branches program meets Monday- Thursday, 4:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. The Branches Fall Session will start on October 21, 2024 with a required Family Orientation. The Fall session ends on December 19, 2024. The Spring Session will begin on February 2, 2025, with a required Family Orientation, and end on May 29, 2025.

The Branches program takes place at the Parks & People campus (2100 Liberty Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21217).

Branches offers opportunities to try new things, get ready for life after high school, a chance to enjoy time with friends, and adds valuable experience to your resume that employers want to see. Additionally, you can earn service learning hours for some volunteer experiences.

All Branches participants must be a Baltimore area high school student, be able to apply for a work permit and be able to attend all in-person scheduled sessions.
